Photography Contest
Rules and Regulations

1. Entries MUST be sheep related.

2. Mail entries will be received up to May 15th. Photos will be returned by mail if a self-addressed, stamped envelope is sent with entries. Otherwise they may be picked up between 3:00 - 4:00 pm on Sunday, May 25th at the Exhibit Hall.

3. Entries will be accepted for display on Saturday, May 24th, between 7:30 and 9:30 am at the Exhibit Hall.

4. There are three classes:

  1. Youth & Sheep

  2. Single sheep

  3. Two or more sheep

5. All photographs must be prints, MOUNTED on framing mattes. No smaller than 5x7 & No larger than 11x14.

6. Photographs should be kept clear, not too busy, in order to look nice on the cover. The photo also must be able to be reduced in size. All of these factors will be weighed heavily in the judging. The Grand Prize winner will be decided between the two first place winners of each class.

7. Amateur photographers only.

8. All entries must specify name, address, and telephone # on the back of the matte, plus a 3x5 card for display

9. Photographs will be returned by mail if a self-addressed, stamped envelope is sent with entry. Otherwise they may be picked up between 3 - 4pm, May 29th.

10. Pushpins may be used to display photographs, or supply your own display stand.

11. This contest has a $50.00 budget this year. Three places in each class will be paid. This will be done on the point system. The winning photogrpahs may be used for promotion.
